Jaguar 435D Overlocker Parts

This machine takes HAx1 (130/705H) needles. It is supplied with sizes 11, 14, and 16. Size 11 is for light fabric, size 14 for most fabric, and size 16 for heavier fabric.

Tension settings

The 435D has four tension dials: left needle, right needle, upper looper, and lower looper. N is the normal mark. Fine-tune one dial at a time on scrap fabric.

Common problems

  • Skip stitches Fit a new HAx1 (130/705H) needle, size 11 or 14, flat side to the back, and seat it fully.
  • Wavy seams Move the differential feed from its normal mark. Raise it for wavy seams on knits, or lower it if lightweight fabric puckers, and support the fabric as it feeds.
  • Thread breaking Re-thread that path with the presser foot up, then ease its tension one number.
