Tension
The Acclaim sets thread tension itself. There are no tension dials. If the stitch looks wrong, fit a new HAx1SP needle and rethread with the presser foot up.
Common problems
- Skip stitches Fit a new needle of the correct system and seat it fully.
- Wavy seams Ease differential feed toward 0.7–N, or support the fabric as it feeds.
- Thread breaking Re-thread that path with the presser foot up. This machine sets tension itself.
